Life is constantly presenting us with opportunities; testing our abilities to handle pain and more importantly discover happiness. Our thoughts directly affect the outcome of how we view and experience our journey. Believing is light in dark times; uplifting and guiding us through the unknown ahead. Believing gives us the strength, to move past our fears and know we are going to get through this.

“Believe” in yourself; be inspired to live out your dreams, exceed your goals and know that you can do ANYTHING that you set your mind to.

Believe” in your friends and family; know that they are right here beside you! To inspire, support and LOVE YOU!

"Believe” in GOD; know that he has a plan for you. He will protect you, strengthen you and help you.

About Brittany

Brittany has always been a happy-go-lucky, smiling, energetic, big hearted, genuine girl.  She recently graduated from her local Jr. College with her AA in Child Development.  She has applied to several schools in the Southern California area to transfer to in spring of 2013.  Brittany has been teaching Preschool for the last 3 years and absolutely LOVES IT!  Kids are her life; they love her as much as she loves them.   There is nothing more joyous to a mother and father than seeing your child doing what they love and smiling about it every day.

Being diagnosed with Scleroderma in the spring of 2012 has not stopped her from being that same girl she has always been.  Continuing to be ever so optimistic and goal driven, her smile hasn’t faded a bit.  Brittany has always had BIG plans for her life; she wants to finish school and get her degree, teach Kindergarten, get married, have several kids and enjoy life.  Now as cliché as that might sound; we know when Britt sets her heart and mind to it, she will DO IT and this disease is not going to stop her!

With her support group (family, friends, co-workers, medical team and extensions there of) right behind her, she will get through this.   The journey hasn’t been easy but anything in life worth fighting for, isn’t!  We will fight every step of the way! Please continue to keep Brittany in your prayers as we know GOD can create miracles.
